General Ledger Link

The General Ledger Link (GL-Link) module provides an interface to the general ledger module of third party accounting systems. Journal entries are generated for sales and accounts receivable transactions and output to either a report format or an ASCII file. The ASCII file is formatted specifically to be read and posted into any one of the following GL packages: Business Works, PAS III, GBS II, Quick Books for DOS and Windows, ACCPAC and Macola.

Script Editor

The Script Editor module provides the ability to set up customized entry procedures for inputing specific line items at the point of sale. These procedures we call 'Scripts' may include any combination of special reminder messages, on-screen prompts, tag-along items, components, alternate items, and/or suggested add-on items. Each inventory item may have its own unique Scripts.

Production

The Production module is a special inventory maintenance tool designed to help manage items that are either produced in batches from individually purchased components, or broken down from a product that is purchased as a bulk unit.

Importer

The Importer module provides the ability to transfer data from an ASCII comma (or tab) delimited file format into the Keystroke system. Inventory, Customer, and Vendor data may be either imported as complete records, or merged in order to modify specific feilds in an existing database (e.g., price updates obtained on disk from a vendor).

MultiStore

MultiStore includes a set of special functions designed to help manage sales and inventory in multiple store/warehouse operations. Primary features include: quanity-on-hand lookup for alternate stores/locations; inter-store inventory transfers and composite inventory inventory level reports; and StoreMerge for transaction consolidation. While a single MultiStore module is required, a seperate Keystroke POS system must be purchased for each store location. Data may be transferred betweeen locations via modem or on disk. MultiStore does not include modem communication software.

EDC

The Keystroke EDC (Electronic Data Capture) module provides the ability to perform electronic credit card authorizations and end of day processing. EDC may be used with Keystroke Single-USer or Network Version and most magnetic stripe readers and modems.
